School History
SMEIS is the latest branch of the Elias School Group, which was founded by Mr. Elias Sadek, a prominent pioneer of private education in Egypt.
SMEIS started its first academic year 2015-2016 supported by more than 50 years of experience in the education field, with a promise to provide a very strong, inclusive learning environment including how the curricula are devised, delivered, monitored, and changed , promising to provide experienced and qualified teaching staff and ongoing professional development, with the use of relevant technologies in the field of education.
In July 2016, SME International School started its first step in the way of excellence in the educational field by joining the American International Accreditation Association of Schools and Colleges (AIAASC), the school accreditation arm of the American Educational Consulting Associates, Ltd. (AEC), which is the continual guiding philosophy to assist the international schools in maximizing their effectiveness in governance, management, and program enhancement as to prepare the students for a world of global independence. The journey to fulfill our vision still continues, aiming for the highest positive impact in the Egyptian society through introducing well-disciplined, highly educated citizens.
